Transformation of a light industry interior into architectural lab, Athens, Greece

Architect: Lina Stergiou
Photos: Nikos Baxevanoglou; Studio Phobia: Stefanos Samios, Vagelis Somarakis

Inside-Out questions the notion of interiority and comfort by intertwining controversial textures and materials linked to exterior and domestic environments in an office interior. An elevated corridor of row sheet-iron filled in with gravels forms the threshold of the inside and outside, which continues to the conference chairs and table – the Un-intimate Comfort chair and the Hard/Soft/Cover/Core table.

Materials: 4mm row sheet-iron, gravels, foam rubber coated with white linen cloth.
